Scotland's tries came from Douglas, Taylor and Paterson with the latter making all his kicks. Two late tries from Wales took a bit of gloss off the win but Scotland had done the hard work earlier on.
The presence of Jason White made a big difference to the pack and it was no surprise that he was named man of the match. The back row functioned well as a unit with great performances from Taylor and Mower
The Scottish lineout functioned much better than the two previous games and the pack showed more commitment to winning and protecting possession. With greater composure the victory could have been more convincing but after such a poor start to the Six Nations a win was the priority.
