"I am looking forward to getting out onto a hard and dry pitch because it means I can put the hammer down and get going again." It is just nice just to be playing again," Kerr added.
"It has been a bit of a rough week, but all the boys are just looking forward to be playing rugby together. But the most important thing is to get the crowd cheering for us again. We need to re-establish the Friday night rugby spirit at Hughenden and we will do our utmost to get the crowd cranked up," he said.
Richie Dixon also looked ahead: "The show must go on," he said. "I was greatly encouraged by the response from the players when I took them for training. It was as if I had never been away - I walked in and they started to smile. I have told them I want them to play in a way that involves the people again - hoping to win back their hearts and minds. While winning is important, I would like to see the players go out and make a statement as to what playing for Glasgow really means."
"I want the supporters who were in doubt to come back to Hughenden and give us another shot. I also want to use the last three games of the season to make the players feel they are on the up and make the core guys feel there is again a bright future for Glasgow. There have been problems and the players must accept some responsibility for them. All the bad things weren't down to the coaching regime. This is their chance to repair some of the wrongs."
