Hadden said: "The referee was conned. I'd like to speak to Graeme Beveridge but it looked to me that he deliberately threw the ball on to Hines."
"Bevvy tried it on and got away with it - and it wasn't even a sin-binning offence," said Edinburgh manager, Ian Rankin.
It was one of a number of controversial incidents in a match that had everything. After a clash with Gordon Bulloch, Edinburgh centre Alistair Dickson appeared to deliberately kick Glasgow's Andy Hall who could only continue after lengthy treatment from the Glasgow medical team.
In another incident the referee failed to penalise Edinburgh for attempting to charge down a Calvin Howarth penalty attempt, while Edinburgh's Derrick Lee infuriated the Glasgow fans who felt he dived on a number of occassions in an attempt to gain penalties for his team.
The people who say these inter-pro games are boring, passionless affairs should have been at Hughenden last night.
