Shade Munro has said he would be willing to work under Sean Lineen if his former Scotland colleague becomes Glasgow head coach. "I will apply as soon as they advertise it. At the moment, I'm more concerned with my wedding this weekend, but I am very enthusiastic about the prospect of coaching a professional team.
I don't agree that there is a risk if a club coach got the job, or none more than any other coach new to the team. We haven't been coaching every day, but that's because we also work and the players work. It doesn't mean we can't coach professional players every day if given the chance."
"I've a good day job and enjoy coaching Hawks, but I've always wanted to coach professionally." said Munro.
"The assistant's role would be a challenge. I get on well with Sean and our skills could complement each other in a professional environment."
