Roxburgh reckons a step up for Munro would be good news at Anniesland. He said: "Obviously we would miss Shade because he has worked hard and successfully over the past few years. But if he was signed up by Glasgow it would enhance our club's reputation and standing in the game. We are a conduit for players and coaches to progress and any promotion to the big stage can only make the club more attractive for young and ambitious guys.
Everyone here would love to see Shade climb the ladder because we believe he has a lot to offer the pro scene. I also have the highest regard for Sean Lineen through what he has achieved at Boroughmuir and the pair working for Glasgow would be good for Scottish rugby."
