"I think that I have certain abilities that I can bring to this group. I know most of the players pretty well, I know what they are capable of and I think I can bring that 'x' factor to the team. But I would also recognise that Kiwi and Richie Dixon put a number or processes in place which would be wise for us, as a coaching group, to look at and develop."
David Jordan is hoping to finalise contract talks with his existing players next week. He suggested that the club is in contact with several potential players but budgetary considerations mean that the money to splash on big-name players simply isn't there. Glasgow are understood to be looking for a midfielder and have focussed on Jim McLaren, Andy Craig and Ben Hinshelwood, although they may have to fight with several Zurich clubs to sign the Worcester player.
