Scrums and lineout were substandard

Andy Hall was disappointed with Glasgow's performance in scrum and lineout.
Glasgow's Andy Hall looked back on Glasgow's defeat to Ulster and admitted: "We made the mistake of sitting back and letting them play."

"And when we did begin to get things together in the second half we did the wrong things at the wrong places."

"Ulster are a strong side, even with a few absent on World Cup duty, and you have to give them credit. But we made things much easier for them than was necessary.

"Our scrums and lineouts were far below the standard required at this level and I have to take a lot of the responsibility for the latter with so much ball being called on me.

"These are problems that can be sorted out quickly. It's up to us to put in the work to make sure that happens."

On the injury front Glasgow suffered four fresh casualties, including skipper Cammy Mather. Cammy and centre Joe Naufahu will have MRI scans to determine the extent of hand and leg knocks respectively.

Prop Matt Proudfoot (leg) and wing Rory Kerr (shoulder) are of less concern and should recover quickly. Sam Pinder underwent an operation on his hand last week while Gareth Maclure has a face knock.
