Morrison and Macfadyen back for Glasgow

Mark McMillan keeps his place at scrum-half after a fine display against Celtic Warriors last week.
Graeme Morrison and Donnie Macfadyen return to the Glasgow team for the Celtic League match against Connacht at Hughenden on Friday (ko 7.30pm).

They are the only changes in personnel from the side which started the Celtic Cup first-round match in which Glasgow beat Celtic Warriors by 19-9 at Bridgend last week.

Scrum-half Mark McMillan is among those who keep their place, even though he was promoted for his competition debut on the morning of the Warriors match. "He played well enough that he thoroughly deserved another game," said Glasgow head coach Hugh Campbell. Kenny Sinclair dropped out of the side after failing to recover from a head knock and McMillan had been preferred to him this time around.

Morrison resumes at outside centre, with Gareth Maclure switching to the right wing in place of Jon Steel . Flu victim Macfadyen replaces Andrew Wilson and takes on his role as openside flanker.

Rory Kerr and Matthew Proudfoot, could not be considered for Friday. Nor could Sam Pinder and Joe Naufahu. Kerr is recovering from a shoulder knock, Proudfoot and Naufahu have knee injuries, and Pinder had a finger operation two weeks ago.
