Eleven Glasgow players in training squad

Euan Murray is in Matt Williams first training squad
Eleven Glasgow players have been named in Matt Williams 44-man training squad to prepare for the Six Nations. Uncapped players Sean Lamont, Dan Parks, Graeme Morrison, Sam Pinder and Euan Murray have been rewarded for some impressive displays this season.

Graeme Beveridge, Gordon Bulloch, Andrew Henderson, Cameron Mather, Moffat">Stuart Moffat and Jon Petrie are also named in the training squad.

The first session is on Sunday 21-Tuesday 23 December. Matt Williams and his assistant Todd Blackadder will be assisted by former internationalists George Graham (scrummaging) and Andy Nicol (scrum-half play).

Well done to all the guys selected - especially the new faces. Sorry to see Rory Kerr miss out - hope he can fight his way back into the squad.

Good to see plenty of new players getting a chance. Hopefully the Glasgow contingent will all do well and get theri chances in the Six Nations.

nice to know they've actually watched Glasgow recently! ...now, what was I saying about Dan Parks being a natural choice?
