Donnie Macfadyen plays his 100th game for Glasgow
Donnie Macfadyen will play his 100th game for Glasgow when he lines up against Edinburgh in the Celtic League match against at Hughenden on Saturday (ko 2.00pm).

Donnie joins a group of five players who have reached the century mark for Glasgow. Three of them are in the current squad – Jon Petrie and the Bulloch brothers. Alan Bulloch has had 118 games for Glasgow, Petrie 116, and Gordon Bulloch 112. The record, though, is 121 appearances, held by Tommy Hayes, the stand-off who departed Glasgow for Worcester at the end of last season.

Donnie admitted to being "excited" about joining the select group of players. "It has sneaked up on me," he added.

Two changes in personnel have been made from the team who started in the 38-13 victory against the French club in the Hughenden match 11 days ago.

Lee Harrison, who played as a replacement in both games against Montpellier, takes over at tight head from Andrew Kelly. Graeme Morrison, who missed both Montpellier matches because of flu, returns at outside centre, with Gareth Maclure switching to the right wing in place of Rory Kerr.

Glasgow: Moffat">Stuart Moffat, Gareth Maclure, Graeme Morrison, Andrew Henderson, Sean Lamont, Dan Parks, Graeme Beveridge, Euan Murray, Gordon Bulloch, Lee Harrison, Andrew Hall, Nathan Ross, Cameron Mather (captain), Donnie Macfadyen, Jon Petrie

Replacements: Scott Lawson, Andrew Kelly, Joe Beardshaw, Roland Reid, Sam Pinder, Calvin Howarth, Rory Kerr

Well done to Donnie on his 100.

Also good to see a settled line-up emerging.

Agree about settled lineup - but concerned to see Rory on bench. Hope this is a one-off!
