Progress the priority for Hugh

Hugh Campbell
Glasgow coach Hugh Campbell reckons that Edinburgh are at least two years ahead of his side in terms of development. But he is quietly confident he has come up with a plan to upset the odds.

He was not putting any pressure on his own Glasgow team though and only wished that, "Regardless of the result, the important thing for me is that we play better. Even if we lose and I can see that we are making progress in the way we play, then I will be satisfied," said Campbell.

Edinburgh's Chris Paterson may miss Saturday's match after suffering a knock on his left knee during the Celtic Cup final defeat against Ulster.

The stand-off was in enough discomfort during the Scotland training session to make it doubtful if he will be in the Edinburgh side named by Frank Hadden, the coach, today.
