No divided loyalties for Lineen

Sean Lineen claims Glasgow have some tricks up their sleeves to combat Edinburgh's impressive form
Glasgow backs' coach Sean Lineen will not let his Edinburgh connections get in the way of his plans for a Glasgow victory on Saturday at Hughenden (ko 2.00pm).

Lineen says: "As a deputy Lord Lieutenant of Edinburgh part of my responsibility is to help look after Royalty when they visit the Capital. Notwithstanding there is some royalty of the rugby variety in the Edinburgh ranks - I have the highest regard for some of the players - we have a few tricks up our sleeve to bring them down.

"Edinburgh are showing confidence and are undoubtedly Scotland's No.1 team on current form although that defeat by Ulster might have dented them. Having said that, Allan Jacobsen is playing especially well in an impressive pack where both seconds rows and the entire breakaway trio are bound to pose a threat.

"Key will lie in asserting ourselves in the inevitable contact battle," said Lineen.
