Dan sparks Glasgow recovery

Dan Parks came off the bench to lead the Glasgow revival
Glasgow's newest internationalist, Dan Parks, sparked a revival that saw his team claw back a 16 point half-time deficit to share the points with Connacht at the Galway Sportsground.

Dan has missed Glasgow's last two games due to his involvement with the international squad but was released to take a place on the bench in Galway yesterday. It was Dan's appearance, with his team 25-9 down after 50 minutes, that inspired the Glasgow comeback to share the spoils in spectacular style.

Connacht is always a difficult place to play, and of the four Irish teams the Galwegians have been least affected by Six Nations call-ups, so to snatch two points when a heavy defeat looked to be on the cards should give Glasgow a boost for the remainder of their Celtic League campaign.

Well done Glasgow - and Dan! We've often joked about the consolation try, but its great to see results being turned around by playing a full 80 mins! Other squads will know now they can't consider us beaten till the final whistle has gone!
