Kenny's professional contract wasn't renewed for the new season, and his chances to impress at Glasgow last term were limited, but he showed great form when playing for Ayr as an allocated pro.

Hawks' Hugh Barrow said: "We are thrilled at having Kenny back in the fold. He is one of the best all-round players in the country.
