Bevvy reckons the decision to switch the game from Netherdale will make it a glittering occasion.
Graeme said: "From a personal and team point of view I am delighted to be going back to The Greenyards.
"It is probably the best club ground in the country and I have great memories of the place.
"I was only a rookie in the Boroughmuir side when they beat Melrose there when they were the team and I was involved several times in the Sevens down there."
Glasgow coach Hugh Campbell reckons the match - part of a double-header also featuring the Melrose v Gala BT Premier derby - can attract new fans to the pro-game.
Hugh said: "A lot of Borders rugby people have stayed clear of the Celtic League and even the Heineken Cup, preferring to devote all their attention to the traditional club scene.
"Maybe some who wouldn't normally go to Netherdale will turn up at The Greenyards and see what they've been missing."
