Euro call for McLaren

Young Biggar prop Elliot McLaren looks set to step on to the big stage by earning a place in Glasgow's Heineken Cup squad.

Today's Herald claims that McLaren looks certain to be included when Hugh Campbell reveals his squad before tomorrow's registration deadline.

John Beattie, forwards coach with Biggar, thinks McLaren has the potential to make it in the big time. "Elliot is a clever player who never goes backwards," said Beattie. "He listens to advice and is always willing to learn. He would definitely benefit from involvement with a pro team."

Not the first time that Mr. McLaren's potential for european success has been documented. Anyone who had the fortune to have witnessed the SKY ONE show 'Sex On The Beach' would surely have seen this lad's physical attributes well exhausted. Without doubt a welcome addition to an already solid pack.
