Glasgow Warriors supporters are having race night at Hughenden on Friday 15 October, the evening before Glasgow's Celtic League game against Ulster.

It's a fund-raising event for the David Azhar Appeal.

Come along, buy a horse, bet on a race or two or more, and enjoy the fun in aid of a worth appeal. Racing starts at 7.00pm.

Gordon Bulloch, Glasgow's Scotland hooker, also will be assisting the David Azhar Appeal when he introduces a Caledonian Fiddle Orchestra concert in November. The concert will be held in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 14 November (7.30pm).

Tickets for the concert, priced £10 and £15, can purchased from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall www.grch.com (phone 0141-353 8000).

Let's see a great turn out for this event. Race nights are always great fun and rugby people won't find a more worthwhile cause.

Is this event only open to members? If not, is it possible for you to let me know who the organiser is and how I contact them to obtain tickets?

Many thanks
