James Eddie was in fine form as Scotland U21's beat South African student team, Orange Free State University by 33 points to 12.

One of the five tries was scored by Glasgow Hawks No 8 Scott Forrest, from a set-piece move. Currie centre Ben Cairns, Newcastle scrum-half Lee Dickson, Watsonians hooker Steven Lawrie and Leicester prop David Young added the others. Stirling County full-back Brian Archibald converted three with one from Sale stand-off David Blair.
