Paul Dearlove joins the Scotland squad
Glasgow's Paul Dearlove has been added to the Scotland squad for training this week ahead of the forthcoming internationals against the Barbarians and Romania.

Paul has been enlisted for the three day gathering beginning tomorrow at Murrayfield Stadium. Edinburgh's Ben MacDougall will also join the squad. They replace the injured duo Jason White (Sale Sharks) and Ben Hinshelwood (Worcester Warriors).

White broke his right thumb in his club's defeat by London Wasps in the Zurich Premiership play-off semi-final at the weekend. He has had surgery and is expected to be sidelined for between four-six weeks.

Hinshelwood currently has a back problem.

Scotland head coach Frank Hadden said: "It's unfortunate to lose players through injury but at the end of an arduous season there's always the chance that will happen. I'm sure, however, that both Paul Dearlove and Ben MacDougall will be looking forward to tomorrow with as much enthusiasm as all the other players and management."

Paul made a try scoring Scotland debut against New South Wales Country after being called in as a late replacement for injury cover on Scotland's summer tour to Australia last year. His call-up comes after some excellent form since returning from a broken leg sustained earlier in the season.
