More frustration for Glasgow

Dan Parks thinks Glasgow's young players fronted up well
It may have been another frustrating defeat for Glasgow but there were enough positives in the performance to give some optimism about the future.

"It was a case of so near and yet so far, which just about sums up our season," Dan Parks told the Daily Record.

"It was a really heartening performance but so unbelievably frustrating at the same time."

Dan gave Glasgow the lead but was off target with a couple of kicks later in the match. "That made all the difference. If they had gone over I'm sure we'd have finished them off," said the Scotland stand-off.

"Losing the close games has become a bit of a habit and we just need a break or two.

"But there were plenty of positives. Several young guys have come into the squad and fronted up. They have given us genuine optimism for the future."
