Glasgow take on Saracens at Hughenden on Friday knowing a win could secure a home tie in the quarter-final of the competition and the stand off wants the supporters to shout the team to victory.
A small group of fans made the trek to Italy to watch Glasgow defeat Gran Parma and Dan made it clear how much it was appreciated.
Dan told The Scotsman: "It wasn't a massive contingent at Parma, but what they lacked in numbers they more than made up for in terms of noise and enthusiasm.
"The players love that sort of thing and it could make all the difference if every one of our people gives it pelters when we take on Saracens.
"We don't just want to hear them when we start to get a few points on the board - we need to be aware of them the very second the starting whistle blows."
