Sam sits out Scotland session

Sam Pinder sat out today's Scotland training session
Glasgow's Sam Pinder sat out the Scotland training at Murrayfield this afternoon as preparations stepped up for Saturday's Six Nations Championship opener against England at Twickenham.

Sam suffered a shoulder injury in the Warriors' 22-5 win over Cardiff Blues at Hughenden on Friday. Borders centre Ben MacDougall also missed the session with a face knock.

Both players will be subject to further assessment over the next 24 hours by the Scotland medical team.

The Scotland team will be announced at 10.00am tomorrow.
