Scotland back on track

Euan helped Scotland to a much-needed win
Glasgow's Euan Murray helped Scotland to a well deserved 21-9 win over Wales to kick start the Scots' Six Nations campaign.

The Scotland pack dominated their Welsh counterparts setting the platform that forced the seven penalty penalties in Chris Paterson's faultless kicking display.

Coach, Frank Hadden said: "I am so proud about that performance today. Let's not forget about how young and inexperienced a side we had out there and the pressure was on them.

"They had to produce the goods today and they knew that. A number of people have been a bit disparaging about the Scottish pack over the past few years and I'd just like to pay tribute to the job [forwards coach] George Graham has done.

"They were still smarting from what happened to them in the first 20 minutes at the Millennium Stadium last year [Scotland lost 28-18] and I thought they very much proved their point today."

Game over and done with. Fantastic game from Chris Cusiter and Rob Dewey. Well done to all the boys. Marcus didn't drop the ball and Godman was not as bad as he could have been. Lamont was not fantastic though? Maybe Hadden got it right but they were not actually playing that well for the first wee while were they?

DiRollo was weak.

Is it just me, but I can't help thinking that Dan would have used all that forward dominance much better than Godman?

You're right, it is just you...

Let it go!
