He spent last season with Glasgow Warriors but his contract was terminated earlier this week.

"Francisco is a player we have been keeping an eye on for some time and we're delighted he has joined Saracens," said Saracens director of rugby Alan Gaffney.

"He adds strength and balance to the squad and is a very powerful and strong runner. He's a good addition to the squad and we are looking forward to working with him this season."
