Bevvy was known for his constant chat to teammates, opposition, referees and anyone else in the general vicinity.
Former Western Force player Chris says he'll use the same methods - as well as some natural skill.
Chris told The Glaswegian: "I like to think that my performances do my talking for me but if something needs to be said I won't shy away from it.
"I've heard Bevvy would be nipping away with the odd comment and being a pain in the arse to opposing packs.
"Whatever the opposition come up with I'm sure will go into one ear and out the other as I'm not clued up on British-style insults."
Chris is looking forward to what he thinks could be exciting times for Glasgow, adding: "Glasgow was a good option for me because my sister lives in Edinburgh.
"Plus the chat I had with Sean Lineen about his way of playing showed that this was an exciting time for Glasgow rugby.
"The new signings especially were very important but although I didn't know too much about the existing players, but from what I've seen, they provide a great base on which to build upon."
Chris is looking forward to teaming up with Dan Parks and doesn't think it will take long to re-connect.
"Dan and I have played with each other before so we know each others game very well.
"He's a good mate and actually lives just down the road from me.
"Hopefully the fact that we already have a bond will ensure he won't get any high misplaced passes from me."
