Warriors launch season tickets

Glasgow Warriors captain Alastair Kellock and scrum-half Chris O'Young launched the club's official 2007/08 season ticket packages in the literal sense today as they were catapulted 50 metres in the air at speeds of up to 95mph at Scotland's Theme Park, M&D’s.

For what is sure to be a thrilling season ahead for the Warriors, the new great value season tickets are priced at £150 for adults and only £50 for concessions (under 18s, students and OAPs), a saving of over 25% on buying separate tickets for each game.

Warriors' chief executive, Ian Riddoch, said: "We are all eager to get the new season underway and I hope the supporters are as keen to get back to rugby as we are.

"The season tickets are the best and most economical way of showing your support for the team and the year ahead has all the markings of a positive leap forward for the Warriors."

Tickets for all home games, including new season tickets, can be purchased by calling the Warriors' dedicated Ticket Hotline on 0844 800 3490 or via the Warriors' website www.glasgowwarriors.org

The Warriors' pre-season campaign kicks-off next Friday night (24 August, kick-off 7pm) when the squad travels to Millmoor to face English National League One side Rotherham before welcoming English Premiership side Newcastle Falcons to Firhill Arena on Friday 31 August (kick-off 7:30pm).

The final test for the Warriors before the start of the new Magners League season, comes on Thursday 6 August when they take on Heineken Cup champions, London Wasps, at Adams Park (kick-off 7:30pm).

When you call the ticket office, you need to provide the name, address, email and DOB of each person you are buying a ticket for.

To buy tickets online use the buy tickets option on the SRU's homepage. Can't see where or how to get the tickets online at www.glasgowwarriors.org
