Rory Lamont went over for a try on his Sale debut
Rory Lamont marked his Sale Sharks debut with a try to help his new team to a 34-30 win over Saracens.

The former Glasgow back joined up with the Premiership outfit after World Cup duty with Scotland.

Sale director of rugby Phillipe Saint-Andre hailed as a "special" talent after his try-scoring debut in the win against in-form Sarries.

Saint-Andre said: "That was Lamont's first game and he showed that he is a special talent.

"He was third choice last year for Scotland but he has become an even better player here at Sale.

Another former Warrior Scott Lawson was on the bench for the Sharks.
