Euan Murray marked his Northampton debut with a try

Euan Murray marked his Northampton debut with a try as the Saints saw off Esher 74-10 at Franklin's Gardens.

The former Glasgow prop has joined up with the National One pace-setters after impressing during Scotland's World Cup campaign.

Another former Glasgow prop, Stuart Corsar, scored a try in Rotherham's 31-15 win over Moseley.

Northampton v Esher - not exactly a fixture that sets the pulses racing. Can't see Euan and Sean getting their competitve edge sharpened in Division 1 with games like that.
