Moseley lock Alastair Muldowney has been linked with a move to Glasgow Warriors.

Muldowney has been a stand-out performer for Moseley this season and has been tipped for a move to the Guinness Premiership or Magners League.

With Tim Barker leaving for Ulster and Dan Turner off to Japan, Glasgow are short in the second row and Muldowney - known as a hard working ball carrier - would seem to fit the bill.

Now that's interesting, it makes sense to look at some up and coming players.

This is an article from last year - he used to play football and basketball.

We've done well with people with experience in other sports - TBone (wrestling), Welshy (boxing), Max (golf), Thom (athletics) and Duncan (fitba).

Andy 'Haulage' Hall came from Moseley and is back there this season as his career winds down. If Muldowney brings the work ethic to the team the haulage did he will be a good signing.
