Johnnie Beattie makes his first appearance of the season after injury and Max Evans has indicated that he'd like to stay with the Warriors after his presnt contract runs out.
Max told the Evening Times: “I would love to stay on at Warriors. My contract is up at the end of the season and, hopefully, I can stay and continue to develop here.
“Obviously I owe a lot to Sean Lineen who gave me my chance in first-class senior professional rugby and hopefully that can continue.
“But the most important thing for now is to focus on the next game and that is vital as any match against Munster is played at a Test match intensity.”
No contract discussions are understood to have taken place as yet but the news that Max is keen to sit down is a massive plus for Sean Lineen.
John Beattie has been out due to a shoulder injury he sustained in Scotland's Test series win over Argentina in the summer.
On his clubmate's return to action Max said: “Obviously you have to temper your enthusiasm for Johnnie’s return with the fact that this will be his first outing of the season. But the big guy has been back in full training for a fortnight now and has looked increasingly impressive.
“Going to places like Munster, you need guys who will really take the ball on and they don’t come much better at that than Johnnie Beattie.
“It is going to take a massive team effort but it is one we are capable of.”
