The Warriors went down to a 22-10 to Munster in controversial circumstances but the Glasgow coach wants to focus on the positives in his team's performance.
Sean told the Evening Times: “That was arguably our best performance of the season. To have come away without the win was very frustrating.
“But there were a lot of big positives we can take on into the Wasps game.
“For a start, to have Johnnie Beattie back and get the type of performance we did from him in his first game of the season was massive.
“Big Al Kellock is getting sharper with every game and DTH van der Merwe has got another try, while there were big improvements in the performances of Colin Gregor, who took his try well, and Ruaridh Jackson at nine and 10.
“But there is no use turning in this type of performance on a one-off basis. We have set ourselves a benchmark for the London Wasps game on Sunday, and now we need to come up to that.
“If we take the positives and belief we got from Saturday’s performance at Munster and build on it, we definitely will give ourselves a chance."
Glasgow will wait on news on Max Evans who suffered a calf injury.
