EDP scrum-half Murray McConnell came on as a substitute for the Millbrae men who will play their fourth consecutive Scottish Cup final when they take to the Murrayfield pitch on Saturday April 20.
In the other semi-final Melrose came out on top with a 34-29 win over Gala at Netherdale. Glasgow EDP duo Fraser Thomson and Bruce Dick started for Melrose with the latter going over for a try.
Elsewhere, Scotland reached their third Cup quarter-final in the last four tournaments after they topped their pool on day one of the seventh leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Tokyo.
Glasgow EDP centre James Johnstone and former Warriors Colin Gregor and Colin Shaw are in the Scotland squad.
The Scots, seeded bottom in pool B, emerged at the top of the group. They defeated Kenya (12-0) and Wales (12-10) and then drew their final match against USA (12-all). The results mean they face the second team in pool C, France, in tomorrow’s Cup quarter-final in the Prince Chichibu Stadium.
