The players didn't feature in the Six Nations defeat to Ireland so will be keen to impress as the Scotland squad prepare to take on England at Twickenham.
"Yeah, it's always the same this time of year." Glasgow assistant coach Peter Murchie told Scotland Rugby News. "If you're coming back to club, generally it's because you haven't had the game time you wanted. It's always the case. There's always an opportunity.
"They seem in a good place, to be fair. They're happy to be back. We get good energy from them and they're all quality players. We trust in their professionalism and they love playing for Glasgow, so hopefully we get a good performance on Sunday and it only strengthens their case for the rest of the Six Nations."
Murchie also provided an update on Adam Hastings, JP du Preez and Sione Vailanu.
On Hastings, Murchie said: "He's doing well. He's ramped up his stuff. He's started his contact work this week, so there will be a certain amount of time where he needs to ramp up his contact work, but he's been training for the last couple of weeks now, doing pretty much most things. So not for this week, but he's getting closer."
On the two forwards, the Warriors defence coach continued: "JP is fully training, which is great after such a long time out. There's a couple of weeks there to be done, but he's fully training. Sione Vailanu is out on the pitch. Again, maybe not quite as far along as JP, but he's training."
Murchie also indicated that although Kyle Steyn is progressing well and stepping up his gym work, his return to action isn't imminent.
