Hayes on target for Aberdeen GSFP

Glasgow's Tommy Hayes kicked the winning penalty for Aberdeen GSFP in their victory over Stirling County at Bridgehaugh.

Roland Reid and Joe Naufahu were both injured, but Stirling brought on Glasgow scrum-half Andy Nicol as a second-half substitute but he was unable to help County to victory as they went down 32-31. Aberdeen full-back Rod Seib ran in three tries for Aberdeen. Seib has been a member of the Warriors back-up squad this season.

In the only other Integrated Tournament match this weekend, Melrose ran out 29-13 victors over Hawick at The Greenyards. Rory Kerr of the Warriors turned out for Hawick and looked sharp which hopefully this didn't go unnoticed by the Glasgow coaches. Kerr has been left out in the cold for most of this season at Hughenden despite impressing in the Scotland tour of North America last summer. There has been speculation that Kerr may be playing his rugby elsewhere next season with Newcastle and Leicester reportedly interested in taking the winger down south.
