"One of the main areas we've been concentrating upon is our fitness. When Marty Hulme took over, he delivered a fairly blunt message to us: he told us that we simply weren't fit enough to play international rugby," writes Gordon. "Looking back, he was right, and I think that explains why we looked so poor during the Six Nations."
