Fitness is the key for Gordon

In today's Scotland on Sunday Gordon Bulloch writes about the big build-up to the World Cup in Australia.

"One of the main areas we've been concentrating upon is our fitness. When Marty Hulme took over, he delivered a fairly blunt message to us: he told us that we simply weren't fit enough to play international rugby," writes Gordon. "Looking back, he was right, and I think that explains why we looked so poor during the Six Nations."

"A few months of intensive beasting from Marty has changed all of that, though. I am in the best shape of my life, stronger and fitter than ever before, and I think the same is true of the rest of the guys."
