JP starts for Scotland

Glasgow skipper Jon Petrie starts at No 8 for Scotland in Saturday's match against Japan at McDiarmid Park, Perth (ko 5.30pm).

Scotland have made five changes in personnel for Saturday’s Abbey Autumn Test. Also ntroduced to the team that started the 14-31 loss to Australia at Murrayfield last week are full-back Hugo Southwell, centre Ben Hinshelwood, prop Gavin Kerr and lock Stuart Grimes.

In addition there are some positional switches with Chris Paterson and Glasgow's Sean Lamont exchanging jerseys on the wing and Allister Hogg moving to blindside flanker.

Former Glasgow player Jason White starts Saturdays contest on the bench.

Great stuff, JP. If he maintains his performance level of this season, he will be an ink-in for the next two Saturdays as well.
