JP plans to put an end to Llanelli's Heineken hopes
Glasgow captain, Jon Petrie, has declared that Glasgow are the team to put the final nail in the Scarlets's Heineken Cup coffin.

Llanelli are just one defeat away from an early, and unexpected, exit from the competition, and JP maintains that Glasgow are just the team to defeat them."We definitely don't regard ourselves as being out of the competition," he said defiantly.

"We have back-to-back games coming up against the Scarlets and we have beaten them twice in a season in the past. Two good wins would keep us in the picture."

Glasgow were beaten 13-9 at home by Northampton and lost 43-17 against Toulouse at Stade Ernst Wallon.

But Petrie insisted there was much to enthuse in their second-half performance in France.

He claimed, "We showed after the interval what we are really capable of at this level against one of the greatest clubs in the world.

"It was just a pity that we had lost our momentum in the first half when we gave the ball away too easily."

JP's thoughts can be read here.
