"The Llanelli manager Anthony Buchanan said he was baffled by the red card shown to the player in the first place, and was even more astonished when Murray was banned for 12 weeks.
"We are quite happy that the Glasgow guy is being allowed to play because as far as we are concerned, he didn't do anything wron"' said Buchanan.
"We looked at the video from all angles and it shows nothing, while none of our lads was aware of anything untoward going on. It seems the referee was the only man who spotted something and the lad was punished in a way-over-the-top manner. The 12 week ban was plain crazy. Even if he had stood on one of our fellows, it was too much. I hope he and Glasgow will get it sorted out next week""
Meanwhile, Glasgow Warriors Chief Executive, David Jordan is quoted in today's Daily Record as saying "We were pretty sure that under the current SRU and Celtic League disciplinary procedure, there was scope for us to argue that Euan is innocent until any revised verdict is reached. Thankfully, our request was upheld."
"The matter is crucial to the club but more particularly for Euan. If the suspension is ultimately upheld, his season will just about be over."
