The ankle was damaged during the Heineken match in which Toulouse beat Northampton 25-12 at Stade Ernest Wallon last month. Michalak is not expected to return to rugby until Toulouse visit Perpignan for a French championship match on 22 January, just in time for the start of the Six Nations Championship two weeks later when France take on Scotland in Paris.
