Andy Hall closing on the half-century

Andy Hall is close to reaching 50 Celtic League games
Glasgow's Andy Hall is one game away from being the first player to turn out in 50 Celtic League matches.

His appearance as a replacement against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade on Saturday raised his league tally to 49 games.

Andy has a chance of making his half-century if he were selected to play against Neath Swansea Ospreys at Hughenden on Saturday, but it could turn into a head-to-head duel for the honour. His rival to be first to the 50 is Andrew Millward, the Ospreys prop. It could well be a dead-heat for the honour.

A great achievement, Andy. Would the old chap like to hazard a guess at the number of miles he has clocked up travelling from Brum to watch the son and heir play? Hall, Snr has racked up many a mile watching Glasgow.
