Kenny was taken off the pitch at Stradey Park on a stretcher following an accidental clash of heads with home player Dave Hodges.
Kenny left hospital after a lengthy check-up and seven scans and admitted: "I'm so lucky, because it could have killed me."
The former Scotland star underwent seven separate brain scans after being carried off unconscious in Glasgow's Heineken Cup defeat by the Scarlets.
But hours later he was well enough to joke: "They didn't find anything in there - nothing new at any rate!
"Seriously, it was a very scary experience. I must have been out for the count for a few minutes and I can't remember a thing about my collision with Dave Hodges.
"I just recall lying on the special spinal board in the ambulance and realising how lucky I was to be able to feel my fingers and toes.
"I knew at that point that nothing bad was wrong with my neck. But from all accounts, it was a hell of a bash - and I suppose it could have killed me.
"In the circumstances, I suppose I am hugely lucky to come away from something like that only needing a few stitches."
